Easter Sunday is just around the corner, and we will come together in record numbers to celebrate this occasion. But have you stopped to consider what this day actually meant for all of humanity? It was monumental. It was represented a turning point for humanity. It was the shift from law to grace. It was the dawn of Christianity. It was changing of the guard. With the veil ripped from top the bottom to let us in, the only thing left was the tomb to be opened to let Him out. And that is exactly what happened.
With death conquered and the resurrection under His belt, He became the spiritual heavyweight champion of the world. Nothing can ever stand in His way. If the cross couldn’t deter Him, and death couldn’t hold Him, and the grave couldn’t contain Him, what’s left?
He now holds the keys of death and Hades (Rev 1:18), and He sits enthroned in the heavens waiting for the final victory march. It will not be on a donkey riding into Jerusalem. You may have missed the Jerusalem victory parade, but get ready for the victory parade of the ages. He will come on clouds, with power and great glory (Matthew 24:30, 26:64 NKJV). brilliant in splendor to bring together those who are alive at His coming, along with those whom He will resurrect from the dead.
The resurrection of Jesus from the dead means resurrection and life for those who believe in Jesus and love His appearing. Are you ready? Will you be ready for the final victory parade? Don’t let this Easter Sunday come and go, and find you still unprepared. Don’t delay any longer. Let it be the day that the shift begin in you and you can experience resurrection power right here, right now. Make it a day to remember.
Blessings!
