Having returned from a recent vacation, the thought of a vacation away from God entered my mind. We take vacation to get away from work, from some people and from some things. But could we take a vacation to get away from God? Never! David tells us that even if he ascended to the heavens, made his bed in hell or had wings so he could fly to the farthest part of the sea, he would still encounter God's presence (Psalm 139). Nothing can hide us from God. God knows any and everything about us, so we might as well get real and honest with Him. He knows all our secrets, good and bad, and still, He loves us, cares for us, and hasn't changed His mind about us. You don't need a vacation from God, instead, you need to run into the arms of God.  He is waiting right where you left Him-in the present.

Blessings!
