Faithfulness! Does it Count for Anything?

Faithfulness! Does it count for anything? Psalm 18:25 tells us this: “To the faithful you show yourself faithful.” Is God only faithful when we are faithful? Of course not! “If we are faithless, he remains faithful, for he cannot disown himself” (2 Timothy 2:13). The picture Psalm 18:25 paints for us is that faithfulness (as well as blamelessness and purity as is seen in verse 26) gets God’s attention. When we are faithful, God sees in us a reflection of Himself in us. Your faithfulness gets God’s attention and He in turn shows His faithfulness. You can never out-faith God. Remember that Abraham faithfulness was credited to him as righteousness. Remain faithful and watch God show out His faithfulness to you.
