I have watched and seen God moved in my life in many ways that have caused me to wonder, "Did He just do that?" I have seen Him remove the aftereffects of a stroke in an instance. I have seen Him answer prayers with such precision so that the cause was cleanly and clearly eliminated. I have watched him restore that which was broken, so you would never have known it was cracked. I want you to know that God can handle anything and anyone, even when it is so much bigger than you.

Do you know what strikes me about David's encounter with Goliath? It wasn't that he was much smaller and the giant was much bigger; it wasn't that he only had to use only one stone from his bag to fell the giant; and it wasn't that he cut off the head of the giant and brought it back to Saul. Did you notice what David told Goliath, "This day the LORD will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you down and cut off your head" (1 Samuel 16:46 ESV). Cut off your head? With what? Without even owning a sword, or having a sword, he promised Goliath that he will cut off his head.

We are prone to always think that we must have the evidence in hand before being sure or confident o prevailing. Not so! David's confidence did not lie in his ability to defend his people, but in God's divine providence and protection.

God's divine plan encompasses everything that threatens you, or attacks you, and seeks your demise, and if you can only see what is available to you, even when it is not yet in hand, your victories will be bigger than you can ever imagine.

Blessings!
